Modeling and Control of Sequencing Batch Reactors for Wastewater Treatment Processes

Biological wastewater treatment processes by sequence batch reactors (SBR) has attracted a lot of research in recent years. Considerable achievements in design, modeling, operation and control have been made. The aim of this paper is to review these new developments in light of the progress they represent towards the solution of the future applications.
