On Security Problems of Industrial Ethernet Control System

The security problems of industrial Ethernet control system are analyzed and discussed in two aspects: security of OPC(Object linking and embedding for Process Control) data server and security of data communication in remote monitoring and control system.The solutions to the security problems are proposed based on OPC Security Specification and SSL(Secure Socket Layer) protocol respectively,and these solutions can provide effective protection for the industrial Ethernet control system.
