Study on Dissolved Oxygen Control Method Based on International Evaluation Benchmark

Abstract
For the non-linear characteristics of dissolved oxygen(DO) concentration control of activated sludge wastewater treatment process,with DO as a controlled object and the international evaluation benchmark as a platform,PID,gain scheduling and generic model control(GMC) are studied and applied to the DO control,and the performances of these controllers are compared.Simulation results show that the performance of the presented GMC method is superior to those of the other two methods,exhibiting the effectiveness and advantage of GMC method.
